leaving the player a range of choices and alternative paths, but what it's really trying to do (which also functions as a twist in the story) is to educate the player to do things in a specific, optimal way. Even if the player would have to replay the whole sequence over and over again.

I agree about the connection with the movie Moon that many mention. It's got a lot of that kind of atmosphere. The loneliness... Also 2001: Space Odyssey and The Dig fit in there obviously.

Definitely a strong sci-fi concept with an attractive presentation.
