It seems that some eager beavers have already sorted out accommodation (the internet is handy for stuff like that) but here are a few possible ideas for people still looking. As a resident I've never had personal experience of any of them (I've never annoyed Mrs Urhan quite that much. Yet.
) but they all seem to have good reputations.

Millifont Guest House - Very near the train station and the town centre.
Senlac Guest House - Similarly close to both station and centre.
Lansdowne Hotel - A short distance from the station but on the sea-front.
Alexander's - Another sea-front establishment.
Churchills Hotel - A bit further out but handy for a nice park and with a good chinese restauarant attached.
For those that like the predictable standards of a chain hotel , there is also a
Premier Inn, but that is on the edge of town. Fairly regular buses in but could stilll be a bit out of touch with others.
