Oh no! I'm sorry, J.H. I don't think I ever saw your email. If I had I would have emphatically confirmed that "Rise of the Hidden Sun" *is* still in production. We just finished a new screen this weekend, actually.
Now granted, we're setting a world record for the longest "in production" period ever, but hey -- hopefully it'll be worth the interminable wait.
I've just started working on a new design blog, which I'll link to from here when it's up and running. At that point it'll be a lot easier to get a sense of our progress. I really haven't been trying to make it a mystery or anything, by the way -- I just figured after all this time there probably aren't that many people who are still interested until they actually see the finished product.
