1. eBay, particularly for big expensive musical instruments, but probably also for electronics and other kitschy things for my apartment.
2. These days, I read blogs instead of magazines. Some of my current favourites are Shakesville, Tiger Beatdown, and video game-related things that friends of mine write.
3. Being true to oneself yields better results than trying to please everyone, which is a good thing because I don't have a clue as to how to please everyone.
