My parents and I finished watching Departures tonight, and we all really enjoyed it. This may be the first foreign film I've ever seen that wasn't an action movie, and it was great.
Last night, I also watched The Hurt Locker, and I was really impressed with it. It was incredibly suspenseful, and realistic. Jeremy Renner was great as Will James. I sincerely hope that Kathryn Bigelow wins the Best Director award because she did an amazing job.
