I don't know about Evil Dead, but as for Tim Burton, I would say the game Psychonauts feels somewhat Tim Burton-esque, with its warped character designs and offbeat sense of humor. See the trailer on YouTube

Since you know Grim Fandango, you might know Psychonauts already, though, since both are designed by Tim Schafer. Unlike Grim Fandango, Psychonauts isn't an adventure game, though--it's a platformer or a Zelda-like action/adventure.
