Well, in a Finn's point of view Lapland is mainly in Finland, but in reality it's the general area in the northern parts of Finland, Sweden and I think Norway and maybe even Russia a little bit too.
As such. If there's talk about Lapland, I'm pretty sure it's either that or just the Finnish parts. I guess especially in Finland it often refers only to the Finnish Lapland.
