In other news, I just got a package from Great Britain, and it has a number of stamps on it marked "p". As in "50p", "10p", and so on. What is a "p"? It's obviously not a pound, as the shipping didn't cost 63 pounds. And then there's some other stamps marked "e".

The "E" stands for 40 pence, I think.
