I prefer to use
Behind the Name for stuff like that. Especially after seeing that some baby naming sites list "Andrea" as a girl's name meaning "Womanly"
(it's actually a *male* name meaning "Manly", from the greek "Andros", referring to things male. As in "Android".).
So yeah, it seems to be based on a boy's name, "Reuben", which makes sense, considering it really does seem to mean "Behold, a Son" (which is rather a weird thing to say when it's a girl. *slaps forehead*).
Still, it's a very nice name anyway. Conga Rats, Jelensie!
