Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I wanted to love it...I sooooo desperately wanted to love it...but I left feeling sad and disappointed. I feel like an asshole for saying that, like some pretentious jaded cynic who doesn't get the goofy fun of Indiana Jones movies, but I just didn't have a very good time watching it. There's too much CGI, the dialogue is stiff and most of the jokes fall flat, and it's just...not much fun. That's not to say it's a bad movie, I don't think it is, it's just not what I hoped for. I pray in time it'll grow on me because I want it to.
