For a class in Music Theory, I'm assigned the task of writing two songs. One traditional song, and a song in pop/rock-style. Both are allowed to be instrumental (so I don't really need any lyrics), but I realised that there are poets in this forum that might enjoy writing some lyrics, so I'm throwing the question out there. Post your lyrics here in this thread if you're interested.

The traditional song must be in AABA-form, so the lyrics should fit that.

The pop/rock-song can have both verse(s) and refrain. A bridge is also ok.

Edit: I will of course post the results here if this gives any result.
