I've got a holster hanging down my thigh when doing archery, for holding my arrows. Does that count?
(Before you ask, back quivers are impractical, especially when you're standing in a row with other people. And often they're too loud when actually hunting with them, too. Your prey would hear the arrows scraping along the material, you see.).
