I've read that from the library. You're right, the book is hilarious, though it's hard to say why. It's a very English thing.
One of my favourites is the black-and-white photo of the small car park (can't remember which town). It just gets better the more you think of it. Why take a photo of a car park at all -- and, if so, why such an unattractive shot? Who decided it ought to be published as a postcard? Who saw it, thought "ooh!", and bought it?
