I'm taking another break from FFX since I can't seem to beat the final boss and I'm too lazy to level up enough to beat him. So...
I'm 16h into Star Ocean - Till the end of time and enjoying myself thouroughly.

While the story is well told it's not as original as the ones told in any of the FF games I've played (7, 8 & 10). The battle system (no random encounters and full real time battles) is a vast improvement over the random encounter semi real-time ones used in FF. The game seems huge since it comes on two DVDs and I'm still on the first one. Most cut scenes are used using the game engine. I don't have that much to complain about except that save spheres are used sparingly making some parts more difficult than I'd like.
