That wouldn't be panning. That would be dictionarying. Which is not only harder to pronounce but could involve potential damage to an important reference work. (More important than Rob's head anyway. )

Can I just drop a Shorter(?) Oxford Dictionary on him and have done with it. It would have the added benefit of irony given it's source town.
