This weekend I went to Antwerp to see Spiderman 3!
I was as disappointed with Spiderman 3 as I was with X-Men 3!
After seeing the trailer for the first time I was expecting something like Batman Begins. Unfortunately, this movie never came near BB.
I agree with the comments mentioned in the posts above. Too much focus on special effects (which I don't always think is a bad idea
), lousy story telling and no real suspense. I get the feeling that the writers didn't really care about the origin of Venom and just wanted to show off 3 main villians.
Same thing happened with the X-Men series! No respect for the origin of the characters!
I have to say, I was expecting a lot from Spiderman 3, but unfortunately it didn't deliver. I read that this movie was going to be darker and more disturbing. Sure...
Ok, I did enjoy the movie, somewhat. It was pretty good fun, it had amazing special effects but no suspense.
