Had a similar situation at The Number 23, couple with a teen, and the 3 of them chose the movie theatre for the right time to catch up with each other, conversationally. I tried shushing, deep sighing, the ever-popular "a-HEM" clearing of the throat. Nada. Kept right on yakking away. Finally I went to the lobby, told someone, they came back with me. When the family from Hell started up again, he swooped in and told them to stop, lol.
Ridiculous. I mean, you CAN watch a movie and talk everyone's year off...just as long as you rent a film and do it at home. I hate paying 20 bucks to see a movie I can't hear.
