The way to cut the cost in public schools is to go to the Board of Education and fire about 75% of the over payed people. Just walk up to there office and ask if they have anything to do directly with the education of children. If they say no or even hesitate hand them their walking papers.
I went on a tirade one time do to the fact that the elementary schools in the school district I lived in did not have gyms and needed to have fund raisers for playground equipment but the high school got a $19000000 football stadium and the 'Great and Powerful school' board built them a brand new $3000000 building since there building was 6 years old.
