Well, at least on the first couple of pages, they were
trying to kill it.
It's become more of a blog now.
Speaking of which, I'll do a little blogging myself.
Why is all the local wildlife thinking that
my strawberry patch is the universal bathroom?
What's that you say? Oh, erm... yes, I do have several strawberry plants. Growing up, my mother was an avid gardener, so one day I said "To hell with these expensive commercial strawberries! I'll grow my own!" So, I purchased 50 strawberry plants. I thought, "Hey, I'll grow 'em for one season, get a few free strawberries out of the deal, great."
Big mistake. The plants did produce more strawberries than I could possibly eat, but they are a huge pain in the butt. After several colourful weeding episodes, they've finally conquered the weeds, but now they're just growing every where. They're taking over. I've been seriously condsidering ending their little world takover with a dousing of herbicide.....
