No. Personally, I usually eat processed sour milk for breakfast. Some eat corn-flakes with milk. When someone eats porridge for breakfast, it's usually oatmeal, not rice.

Waffles for breakfast just seems strange to me, and in Sweden they're not usually eaten with maple syrup, either. Waffles go with jam and whipped cream, but not in the morning.

I can't really imagine pickled herring as breakfast, either.
