Pink,

what is it that you eat during the day? If you are eating thing that have lots of fiber in them, that might bloat your stomach and cause the air problem. Since you don't eat very much and its (mostly snacks) maybe that coupled with what you eat causes you stomach to go into shock. Just meaning that it can’t churn the food like it should.

My advice for what it's worth:

1. See a general practice doctor (just to explain what is going on)
2. Make sure you eat breakfast and vitamins
3. 1 protein drink (ensure, boots) something like that
4. When you eat a snack eat something that makes your stomach work to grind the food (i.e... celery, grapefruit)
5. If you eat a lot of meat cut back on that

Start your day with a small to medium size breakfast. Studies show that if you skip breakfast then you are tell your body that there is not enough food for you at this time and it starts using its reserves for you body. And over time you body will come accustom to that feeling and it will no longer react to you not eating breakfast.
