Did you ever play Knights of the Old Republic? In that game, you get to TALK to huge fish, but that didn't make it less of a great game. Or let's see, ummm the movie Star Wars 3 (from the old trilogy), where you land on a planet inhabitted by teddy bears. You should really try something before passing your own personal bias against them just because they belong to a different culture.
