Anyhoo. You could also try
Game Audio Player to extract sound clips directly, although it can take a while to find the exact clip you want that way.
As for the sound clip, I listened to it yesterday, but I can't place it. The only game I can remember playing straight off-hand that had the main character asking after hotel guests is Gabriel Knight 3, and I don't think I remember the clerk having that sort of accent.
