A Scanner Darkly
Who knew that you could do a faithful adaptation of a Philip K. Dick story?
I liked it; I've always had a thing for Winona Ryder, and the film is worth the price of admission for Robert Downey Jr. alone. Keanu actually does a creditable job in the main part. It's maybe a bit too literal and straightforward, I remember the book being less coherent and more f-ed up.
The Photoshop rotoscoping is visually interesting, sometimes a bit distracting, and ultimately feels a bit unnecessary.
It's nice. I recommend it.
