And now for a poetical interlude. Anyone wishing inclusion in future rewrites please apply by PM to the author.

Thread Mustn’t Die

A man called SJH set to wondering one day
Why AG forums threads always seemed to fade away
No matter how hard people tried to keep a thread alive
It never seemed that long until all threads just ceased to thrive
And he wondered if the forumites really set themselves to it
To deliberately kill a thread, how long for them to do it?
So a new thread he created, this instruction he imparted
Would he still have done it if he’d known just what he’d started?
It’s almost reached 6,000 posts and shows no signs of slowing
Will it ever reach a terminus? There’s just no way of knowing
Not as long as there are those who’ll give it all that they have got.
Such as AGs favourite redneck, the delightful Thrift Store Scott
With his time-travelling zeppelin, Karmillo the MI fan
And then there’s jjatjacob, a most intriguing man
For lowering the tone we always count on seebaruk
Even stepurhan (that’s me) sometimes pops in for a look
Then some quite recent starters have joined us in the fray
Such as the fine Swedish chorister, the lovely LenaJ
Long-standing forum stalwarts, into the thread they step
Though often just to say “Hello”, “Hello” back to you Trep
But one man is a fixture, be the thread banal or racy
He’s posted more than all of us, the one known as RLacey
He seeks to kill the thread and this is the reason why
The rest of us are so dead set that this Thread Mustn’t Die

Cold Topic

A thread most controversial, that’s what I want to start
Full of impassioned arguments, of posting from the heart
And for this stimulation all will be thankful to me
On come on everybody it won’t work if you agree
