I had stuff to do today, but I watched four movies anyway.

Bridge on the River Kwai - I haven't seen many old movies, so it's odd when I watch one because of how different they are from today's. I'd say this was a good movie. The beginning and ending were good, but the middle was maybe a bit long.

Grave of the Fireflies - so far this is the best animated film from Japan I've seen. But the only other two I've seen are Akira and Princess Mononoke, so that's not saying too much. I'm not a particular fan of sad movies, but this one turned out well.

The Usual Suspects - the ending had been spoiled for me, but it was still a fun watch.

The Scent of Green Papaya - this was a cute movie. Very little dialogue, but I was still interested in watching the daily life.
