Spices? You mean the British version of Indian food? We typically don't use spices in our traditional food. I'll agree with the fat part though. Have you tried a proper British roast yet? Mmm, roast potatoes, beef, yorkshire pudding, veg and gravy Also, you can get fantastic sausages etc from specialist butchers (don't get crappy supermarket stuff, it's just fat and gristle). Then there's shepherds pie, cornbeef hash...oh man I'm making myself hungry.
