People don't watch the Olympics! Of course they do! I love the Olympics. Even I, the least sports oriented person on the planet, watches some of the Olympics. Well, I admit, it's mostly swimming that I watch.
But it's so boring!

How could NYC have had a chance? The panel is all Europeans, there's no way any US city would have made it.

But anyway, I think they made the right choice. I've never been to London myself, but I hear it's quite right (speaking of which, did you know that's that’s how the band "Quiet Riot" got their name? An English pronunciation of "Quite Right." Wick.)
