Adventure Forums - View Single Post - Why do threads register as having unread posts when the last post is mine?

Title says it all really. I don't always have a lot of time to spend on the forums

so I generally go to the main page for each section and see if anything new has been posted on threads I'm watching. A few times I've thought someone's made a quick response to my post only to find the "new" post IS my post.

I'm guessing it has something to do with it being new since I looked at that main page (and hence would presumably be hard to recode) but I was wondering if there is any solution to this.
