I wasn't thrilled with the changes when I first saw them (a while ago). I have to say they've really grown on me though. Over the past few weeks I have been going back and forth between the new site and the old site a lot and the old site started looking really clunky in comparison.

Yeah, I agree that most of the site look clearer now. I just feel like the separation between the news and the new features is unclear now, on the main page, which I find to be a bit confusing. But that's really bickering, I'll live with it

Right sided links are another matter, though, but since it's purely a matter of personal taste, there's nothing much I can say.
