Ever wanted to put your own captions in a game? No? Err… ANYWAY - here’s the idea: I post a couple of screenshots from upcoming titles, and you put subtitles to them. To get the idea, let’s take GK1 shot:

Grace: Gabriel, I think you should consider getting curtains!

You can have as many entries as you like. Big prizes await you! Laughing This week’s images are from new Sherlock Holmes and Jack Keane 2:

For Jack Keane… “Are you sure the Beard-O-Matic 3000 will catch on?”

The real problem with reality is the lack of background music.

Sherlock Holmes:

Woman “This is a most delicate matter Mr Holmes. On your honour, I beseech you to find the scoundrels who took my left arm, my feet and my shadow. I have little enough to call my own sir, but can share with you the art of levitation as reward.”

(I would play that game!)

Holmes and Watson had heard the old woman was undefeated at staring contests, but couldn’t resist challenging her themselves. Alas, she was even better than the rumors stated, and was able to take them both on at once.

Lady: No, this is Brothel in Commercial St.
Sherlock: Back to the drawing board, Watson.

Sherlock is saying..

Pardon me Madam, my name is Sherlock Holmes and this is Dr Watson, we are calling on you and your neighbors with an interesting article titled Does God Approve of Sam-Sex Marriage?. We are wondering if you’d be interested in reading this.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

The Woman: “Haven’t I seen you somewhere before?”

Sherlock Holmes: “Nope, nu-uh.”

The Woman: “Yes, yes I have. Aren’t you the blokes on that one BBC Sherlock series?”

Dr. John Watson: “...”

Sherlock Holmes: “No.”

The Woman: “Well, who are you?”

Sherlock Holmes: “Err, Gregory House. And this is my friend Wilson. Now, where were you yesterday evening?”

Mrs. Hudson:  No, Mr. Holmes, I’m retired now, and there’s nothing you can say or do to convince me to come back to 221 Baker Street!  I’ve had enough of your messes, your stinky experiments, and your violin playing to last me the rest of my life, not to mention you and Dr. Watson traipsing up and down the stairs at all hours of the night.  You’ll have to find somebody else to tidy up your tobacco crumbs and newspapers and to bring you tea whenever it suits you.  I’m finished with all that!  Good day to you, gentlemen!

Excuse me miss but did you happen to come upon my long johns? They’re pink in colour and bear a lilies motif. I seem to have misplaced them at your rather eventful soirée last night.

Jack:  Hmmm.  I think something’s missing here.  Let me check my inventory.  Blunderbuss?  Nah.  The grip is wrong.  Machete?  Nope, he’ll cut his fingers off.  I know!  Fiddle and bow.  No?  Why not?  It looks like a perfect fit.  Damn!  All I’ve got left is a pair of scissors and a comb.  Ah-ha!  I should have known.  He’s a hairdresser!
