8 Things I Learned from Bogi’s “The Big AG VS Tournament”
1. Tex Murphy is popular.
2. The Whispered World, Blackwell Epiphany and Machinarium are the best “modern” adventures.
3. Adventure Gamers Forum loves noir.
4. Adventure Gamers Forum “hates” Myst clones.
5. Adventure Gamers Forum loves modern games with retro-pixelated graphics.
5. The Curse of Monkey Island is almost equally loved as MI1/2.
6. Monkey Island and Gabriel Knight are the two most popular series.
7. 1993 is the best adventure year.
8. Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win. The Best Adventure tournament is a simple game. 100 (or so) games compete for few months and at the end, Grim Fandango always win.

Of course you are correct to everything diego. Let me add a thing or two…
1. Tim Schafer is popular
2. No love for Sierra unless Jane Jensen is involved.
3. No love for 1st person unless the word “Tex” is involved in the title.
4. Blade Runner is the game that few people have played but EVERYONE should play.
17) People love to talk about Moral Finals, and make silly arguments for why the results are not the actual results.
You have to play the game, to find out why you are playing the game! - eXistenZ
5. The Curse of Monkey Island is almost equally loved as MI1/2.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this!
4A. I’m in a minority because I love Myst clones.

There are still very few of us Lady….
More than just a few.
I learned that I have to get my hands on Discworld Noir somehow and that in the end even Tim Schafer doesn’t stand a chance against Tim Schafer.
9. The official Top 100 is a pretty good reflection of the forum’s tastes, and probably the best list on the internet.
10. More adventure gamers need to play interactive fiction.

Bis! Bis!
See you around, wolf. Nerissa
11- Adventure gamers mainly play PC based adventure games, and not too many handheld or console ones.
2. The Whispered World, Blackwell Epiphany and Machinarium are the best “modern” adventures.

You got it, buddy.
P.S. Who’s Bogi?
Everybody wants to be Cary Grant.
Even Me.
-Cary Grant
11. There is no secret Gabriel Knight illuminati here after all - we need to start it!
3.5 time winner of the “Really Annoying Caption Contest Saboteur” Award!
4. Adventure Gamers Forum “hates” Myst clones.
There didn’t have to be a poll to learn this. Being a member here since 2003, the general sentiment of the members has been consistently disparaging towards 1st person puzzlers.
Hey Becky, you and I joined the forum within days of each other.
