Today, The Journeyman Project 3! At the rate at which it’s improving, maybe if the series ever reaches game #8 the interface will start looking OK.

I have to agree on the improvement. I recently played Buried in Time (The 2nd JP) and found it near unplayable, not only because you have to roam across time and space before you happen to find the place you are supposed to be, but doing so through a tiny visor. The 3rd game fixed both problems and I think it’s the best of the series.

I can’t think of a series more in need of remakes (though the 3rd probably doesn’t need one yet).

I played all 3 when they were originally released and i didn’t find the interface to be a problem back then. If i were to play them now, it would probably be a different story.

I still think they are excellent games, but i can’t imagine myself replaying them unless they get a remake.

Several months ago I played the 10th anniversary edition of JP 3 for Mac OS X.  It has aged well and still remains one of my favorites.
