Return of the Phantom is the only one of the 3 Microprose adventures I haven’t played yet. It has a giant pipe organ and a throne with a skull on it, which means I have to give it a try at some point!

I liked the Microprose adventure games. Unfortunately I don’t like Phantom in any of its incarnations so this was fairly boring for me, but it’s still a good game.

The women’s screams in this game used to scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

I’m on a whole new adventure.
Growing a mustache?

Short, sweet and incredibly atmospheric. My favorite of the Microprose games. Only part that kind of sucked was the maze in the catacombs.

I loved the Phantom but still think its easily the worst Microprose one.  It doesn’t really do anything interesting with the premise - if it was done either as more of an effective mystery, or delved more deeply into the characters/psychology, it might have worked, but it always felt a bit flat.

A Kickstarted Rex Nebular 2 would be more my thing.
