Drawn: The Painted Tower now looming on store shelves
Casual adventure from Big Fish released to retail for first time in UK

Remember when they used to make boxed PC games? Well, Focus Multimedia is still doing it, today releasing Drawn: The Painted Tower to stores in the UK.

Previously available only through digital distribution, the casual adventure from Big Fish Games is a radical departure from the company's previous hidden object-based offerings, giving players a "lite" but largely traditional adventure. Players are tasked with reaching the child princess at the top of the tower, overcoming the many obstacles and puzzling challenges by entering the magical paintings discovered along the way.

Called the "first installment of the Drawn story" by its developers, there are sequels expected at some point, so there's no better time to get caught up if you missed the game originally, or were holding out for a full retail version until now. The game will be available in all major UK retailers at a cost of £9.78 (including VAT).
