New trailer let rip for upcoming Sherlock Holmes mystery
Bloody glimpse of the dark upcoming adventure by Frogwares

With Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper lurking down the alley, Frogwares and Focus Home have just released a new trailer for budding detectives to peruse.

In the game, which can be played in either third-person or first-person perspective, players will take the role of Holmes as he follows a trail of dead prostitutes through the streets of Victorian London. Police can find no leads amongst the horribly mutilated bodies, and a media frenzy sends the country into an uproar. Holmes is soon approached to find the killer and deduce his psychotic motives.

Setting the stage for the game’s dark, disturbing atmosphere, the trailer shows the murder of a prostitute through the eyes of the Ripper, his identity remaining a mystery. Enter Holmes and Watson, who take to the streets of Whitechapel to stop the elusive killer. The trailer can be streamed directly from the official website.

Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper will be released on PC this May and on the Xbox 360 at the end of the year.
