Yep. More details about the promotion are given in AG's news item here.
In addition to offering one of the episodes for free, they're donating a portion of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures sales to charity between now and November 8th. |

I don't see why Telltale gives away one of the MIDDLE episodes for free. They did this with Sam & Max, too. Wouldn't they create more sales if they gave away the FIRST episode instead? They gave away the first ToMI game, and I probably wouldn't have tried it if it had been one of the middle ones.

TOMI is a much more serialised season of episodes though; you need to have played all the episodes to have much of a clue as to what's going on. Wallace and Gromit, Sam and Max etc are more isolated in terms of story progression.

Well I gave this about 5 minutes, and it annoyed me to tears. I hope telltale made lots of money on W&G fanboys, but it seems to me like games just aren't the property's best medium.

How is this series? I've never been interested in this license growing up and the games have not caught my eye. These free downloads are perfect for somebody like myself that would never buy it otherwise but if I get the least bit of spark I will be very loyal.
