How would I have known when I picked up a 50 cent copy of the "Ages of Myst" in middle school, that I would be thrust into the obsession of adventure games?

I am 19, a Freshman at the Univerity of Central Missouri, going for a degree in psychology and a minor in creative writing. I've been playing adventure games since then, about 6 years ago, and I know I'm pretty young opposed to some people who have been playing for all of their lives. Even though I have great friends, school, and a wonderful boyfriend, I find myself having no life and always being on the forums and on Facebook.

My favorite games are: The Dark Fall series & Lost Crown, the Longest Journey series, the Myst series, Barrow Hill, Blackstone Chronicles, and Sanitarium. Really anything dark and depressing.
